On November 11th, Guoyi Group and DX Energy formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking a significant step toward deep collaboration in the field of semi-solid-state batteries and related materials. The two parties will work together to drive the coordinated innovation of advanced battery technologies, accelerate industrialization, and seize the growing opportunities in the new energy sector.
Guoyi Group’s independently developed semi-solid-state battery products lead the industry with outstanding safety, high energy density, and ultra-long cycle life. According to data, the energy density of Guoyi’s lithium iron phosphate semi-solid-state batteries has exceeded 260 Wh/kg, while its ternary lithium system has reached 393 Wh/kg. In destructive testing methods such as shearing, nail penetration, and compression, the batteries demonstrated exceptional performance — no fire and no explosion. These products have been widely applied in 3C consumer electronics, electric two-wheelers, and commercial & industrial energy storage. Meanwhile, as a Vice President Unit of the Guangdong Battery Industry Association, Guoyi holds a leading position in supply chain integration and standards development.
DX Energy is a high-tech enterprise specializing in lithium-ion battery cathode materials with 16 years of development history. With a strong reputation in the industry, the company has long focused on R&D and manufacturing of cathode materials, and has been recognized as one of the first national “Little Giant” specialized and innovative enterprises. Its newly launched 20,000-ton LMFP (lithium manganese iron phosphate) production line, which began operation in April, is the largest dedicated LMFP production line in China. The product delivers a 1C specific capacity of 152 mAh/g, ranking among the highest globally. DX Energy has demonstrated significant strengths in technological innovation, product consistency, and supply reliability.
Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly advance a full-chain strategic collaboration on semi-solid-state battery cells for digital applications — including coordinated material development, process optimization, and mass-production supply assurance — to further enhance product performance and market competitiveness. Additionally, they will explore new directions in advanced battery materials and expand into domestic and international mid-to-high-end digital markets, accelerating large-scale commercialization of next-generation battery technologies.
At the signing ceremony, representatives from both sides noted that this strategic cooperation is a critical step for Guoyi Group in strengthening supply chain resilience and improving supply system quality, and marks an important milestone for DX Energy in advancing innovation and market synergy. By integrating Guoyi's phosphide-based all-solid-state battery technology with DX Energy's strengths in lithium iron manganese phosphate (LMFP) materials and large-scale production capabilities, the two companies aim to establish a mutually beneficial industrial ecosystem and contribute to the high-quality development of China’s new energy battery industry.
